Hello everyone, Nathan Derry here! If you're anything like me, you love discovering quick, delicious, and cost-effective dinner options. That's why I often find myself browsing the aisles of Trader Joe's. Their unique and diverse range of products makes it easy to whip up a fantastic meal in no time. Here are some of my favorite Trader Joe's dinner hacks that you can try at home:

Cauliflower Gnocchi with Pesto and Veggies

Ingredients:

  • Trader Joe's Cauliflower Gnocchi
  • Trader Joe's Vegan Kale, Cashew & Basil Pesto
  • Mixed vegetables (e.g., cherry tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms)

Instructions:

  1. Sauté the cauliflower gnocchi in a skillet until crispy.
  2. Add mixed vegetables and cook until tender.
  3. Toss with pesto sauce and serve.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Ingredients:

  • Trader Joe's Chicken Tikka Masala (frozen section)
  • Basmati rice or Naan bread
  • Trader Joe's Garlic Naan (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat the Chicken Tikka Masala according to package instructions.
  2. Serve with basmati rice or naan bread.
  3. For an extra touch, warm Trader Joe's Garlic Naan in the oven.

Riced Cauliflower Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

  • Trader Joe's Riced Cauliflower Stir Fry
  • Trader Joe's Frozen Mandarin Orange Chicken
  • Soy sauce or tamari

Instructions:

  1. Cook the mandarin orange chicken according to package instructions.
  2. In a separate pan, sauté the riced cauliflower stir fry.
  3. Combine the chicken and stir fry, adding a splash of soy sauce or tamari.

Spaghetti Squash with Tomato Sauce and Meatballs

Ingredients:

  • Trader Joe's Spaghetti Squash Spirals (frozen)
  • Trader Joe's Turkey Meatballs
  • Trader Joe's Marinara Sauce

Instructions:

  1. Cook the spaghetti squash spirals according to package directions.
  2. Heat the turkey meatballs in the oven or microwave.
  3. Warm the marinara sauce in a saucepan.
  4. Combine the spaghetti squash, meatballs, and sauce in a bowl and serve.

Vegetarian Tacos

Ingredients:

  • Trader Joe's Soy Chorizo
  • Trader Joe's Corn Tortillas
  • Trader Joe's Pico de Gallo
  • Trader Joe's Guacamole
  • Shredded lettuce or cabbage

Instructions:

  1. Cook the soy chorizo in a skillet until browned.

Instructions:

Lentil Soup with Kale and Sausage

Ingredients:

  • Trader Joe's Organic Lentil Soup (canned)
  • Trader Joe's Smoked Andouille Chicken Sausage
  • Fresh kale

Instructions:

  1. Slice and sauté the sausage in a skillet until browned.
  2. Heat the lentil soup in a pot.
  3. Add the sausage and a handful of chopped kale to the soup, and simmer until kale is wilted.

Tuna Poke Bowl

Ingredients:

  • Trader Joe's Poke Albacore Tuna
  • Trader Joe's Jasmine Rice (microwaveable)
  • Trader Joe's Avocado
  • Sliced cucumber, shredded carrots, and seaweed snacks

Instructions:

  1. Microwave the jasmine rice according to package directions.
  2. Arrange the rice in a bowl and top with poke tuna, avocado slices, cucumber, and carrots.
  3. Crumble seaweed snacks on top and serve.

BBQ Chicken Pizza

Ingredients:

  • Trader Joe's Pizza Dough
  • Trader Joe's BBQ Sauce
  • Trader Joe's Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Trader Joe's Grilled Chicken Strips
  • Red onion and cilantro (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven and prepare pizza dough according to package instructions.
  2. Spread BBQ sauce over the dough, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and add sliced chicken strips.
  3. Bake until crust is golden and cheese is melted. Top with red onion and cilantro if desired.

Trader Joe's Mac and Cheese with Broccoli and Chicken

Ingredients:

  • Trader Joe's Reduced Guilt Mac & Cheese
  • Trader Joe's Grilled Chicken Strips
  • Trader Joe's Frozen Broccoli Florets

Instructions:

  1. Cook the mac & cheese according to package instructions.
  2. Microwave the broccoli florets and chicken strips until heated through.
  3. Mix everything together in a bowl and serve.
